The farm
La Ferme de Bullion is a family farm located 45 minutes north of Montreal, at the foot of the Laurentian Mountains. Certified organic by Québec-Vrai, we grow a large variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs for our CSA baskets. For the past 12 years we have been producing organic seeds of a high quality and diversity; every year hundreds of plants are cultivated to produce the seeds necessary for our gardens and those of our clients.

 

Ferme de Bullion uses and produces open-pollinated seeds, that have not undergone any hybridization or genetic modification, and which form a part of our cultural heritage. The use of traditional seeds ensures the protection of our biodiversity, so essential for the generations who will follow us. Growing your own seed is an important step in ensuring food sovereignty and in helping to put the "culture" back into our regional agriculture.

 

We are proud to offer an interesting selection of certified organic, untreated seed. We are interested in preserving unusual and rare vegetables that are not easy to find in the conventional marketplace. Many are heirloom varieties, with over 100 years of history; all are open-pollinated. We hope that they will find a place in your gardens, and on your tables.
