Kale with Parmesan and Garlic

Ingredients :

 

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 leek, sliced thinly
  • 12 oz kale, chopped
  • 2 oz parmesan cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • shavings of parmesan, to garnish

 

Preparation of the recipe :

 

Fry the garlic for a few seconds in the olive oil. Add leeks and fry for 2 minutes, stirring. Add kale. Cook for a few minutes then add ¼ cup water. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer until kale is tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in parmesan cheese and serve at once, garnished with extra cheese.
